✨ Come Stay With Us at Embassy Suites in Bethesda, Maryland ✨

Sometimes the best way to recharge is to step away from your routine without traveling too far. This weekend we took a little staycation at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Bethesda, Maryland, and it turned out to be exactly what we needed.
If you’re planning your own trip, you can explore booking options through my travel site: roslynjones.inteletravel.com.
The Room: Spacious, Comfortable, and Exactly What You Expect
Embassy Suites always delivers when it comes to space, and this location stayed true to that reputation. Our suite had plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The bathroom made me especially happy because it had a full-length mirror, which is something I always appreciate when I am getting dressed. There was a full shower and bathtub, and the sink area was outside of the bathroom, which made getting ready so much easier.
The bedroom was also large and had a king-size bed that made the whole room feel inviting and peaceful. Embassy Suites is known for offering true suite-style rooms, so the generous layout did not surprise me, but it definitely made the stay more comfortable.
Snowy Views and Pretty Winter Moments
We arrived right after a snowstorm, so everything looked extra pretty. The view from our bedroom window overlooked a blanket of fresh snow, and the view from the living room was just as beautiful. From the window, we could even see the indoor-outdoor pool. There is also a hot tub, which felt like such a great bonus.
The room came with a microwave and a fridge, which is something I personally need because I never finish my food when we go out. It is always nice to reheat leftovers without having to leave the hotel.
A Small Thing I Noticed
The only minor thing I would change is the angle of the living room television. Watching it from the sofa felt a little awkward. It was not a major issue, but it is something I noticed. Everything else in the room felt perfect for what we needed.
Starting the Morning at the Gym

The next morning I decided to check out the gym. It was very clean and well organized, and the equipment looked newer than what you usually see in hotel fitness centers. The treadmill even had games you could play while walking or running, which made the workout a little more fun. The gym is located right next to the pool, which gives it a refreshing and open feel.
Breakfast Time
Breakfast was cute and offered all the classic Embassy Suites options. They had bacon, sausage, potatoes, a waffle station and more! There was also an omelet station, which is always my favorite part of staying here. The omelet was delicious. The bacon was a little salty for my taste and the potatoes were not my favorite, but overall the breakfast was good and convenient.
Drinks with Joe at the Bar
Later that day we headed down to the lobby for the complimentary snacks and drinks. The lobby itself is beautiful and has several areas where you can sit, talk and relax. The overall design of the hotel is very aesthetically pleasing, and it makes hanging out in the common spaces feel enjoyable.
We also met Joe, the bartender, and he was truly one of the highlights of the stay. His drinks were outstanding. He was friendly, skilled, and made the whole experience even better. If you stay here, please go visit Joe at the bar and make sure you tip him well!
Final Thoughts
If you are looking for a comfortable and visually appealing hotel in the DMV area, I definitely recommend Embassy Suites in Bethesda. The room was spacious, the amenities were convenient, the design was beautiful and the service was warm. We enjoyed our snowy little getaway, and we would absolutely stay here again.

See you in the next post. Bye!
